Results: Finished in 25:02 WOOOT!!!! 1:37 faster than previous..WooooT!!!

2nd WOD:
"FRAN"

Results: Finished in 13:47 WHAAAAT WOOHOOOOO!!!! 3:29 faster than previous hellz yeah!!!!...lol

*Note to self* DO NOT practice l-sits all day and do rings dips or any ring workouts for that matter!!!...My left elbow is acting up right now I guess I put too much strain on them today..*crap*...live and learn..lol...

The workout seemed simple enough but for some reason it took me 21:58 min and had a headache in the second round and threw-up as well...YUCK!!! so I decided to stop because my headache was getting worse, weird...and it sucked i didn't get to finish all the rounds...*argh*

WOD: For time

50 pushups
50 situps
50 squats

Results: 21:58 and finished only 2 rounds (puking time included)
Total reps: 100 pushups/situps/squats

Down but NOT OUT!!!....

Not a great day celebrating my 33rd B-day sick as a dog yesterday...but thanks to Shil got me motivated again to bring more PAIN!!!..hehe...Kinda weird getting excited with a new weight scale as a b-day present..oh YEAH it's DIGITAL!!..lmao!!!...waiting for my Olympic rings to come soon enough and possibly a 35lbs ketlebells too..ohh man..so excited to get better for more and new workouts!!! But for now will have plenty of rest...stay tuned ..Oh yeah!! BREEENGGG ETTT!!!!!!....

This Sucks!!...

Been fighting a head cold since Friday night and been resting for 3 days now and I feel like I should suck it up and go on with my workouts, but a part of me thinks If I do I will just make it worst and my WOD performance will suffer anyway due to the COLD!!..*argh*... kinda hard to get a good enough sleep/rest especially Emma is sick as well...*argh* DAYCARE SUCKS!!!

Anyway just venting out cuz I want to work-out but not feeling 100% and I feel like I will lose all my hard work If I skip one more day...oh well I hope you guys are doing better than me..*argh*

6-18-10 WOD / "MARY' AND COMPANY

Went for timed WOD's didn't do too well with rounds still needs more practice with pull-ups...

1st WOD: "Mary"

AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) in 20 min.
5 Handstand Pushups (modified)
10 Pistols (one legged squats, 5 reps each leg)
15 Pullups (kip)

Results : 5 Rounds (went over a bit over 20 min, still slow with pullups)

2nd WOD:

AMRAP in 12 min.
10 Pushups
15 Situps
20m Walking Lunge

Results: 6 Rounds. Walking lunge is new to my routine it's pretty good and I know my leg muscles will hurt tomorrow and my ARSE!!!

Felt weird had a headache while working-out...I guess i have to skip my afternoon coffee nowadays and plenty of water *argh* ...so my time for my WOD was bit loooong 46:02 *argh*...

WOD: For time
5 Rounds of
15 L-Pullups (this is full l-pullups no jumping *oh yeah*)
30 Pushups
45 Situps

Overall Total Reps for time 46:02
L-Pullups = 75
Pushups = 150
Situps = 225

Not bad for a "headache" workout...darn headache!!! more oxygen!! plus I think my breathing is out-of-whack...inhaling as suppose to exhaling or vice versa..oh well!!

Practicing my kipping pull-ups today, I keep losing momentum and rhythm...*argh*..i get too excited on doing the darn thing that I over think the movements which causes me to rest and correcting...oh well!! more practice is needed...

1st round results: I finished in 26:39, those back extensions seemed easy but MAN! I was wrong..lol...

2nd WOD: "FRAN"

40lb Dumbbell Thrusters (20lbs each hand) **THIS NO JOKE..*argh***
Pull-ups (full kip)

2nd Round results: Finished in 17:16 not bad for first time "Fran" with weights...*wooot*...
Funny thing I kinda like doing pull-ups now WEIRD??!!! I hated it before..hmm..sweet!!

I managed to do 11 rounds similar to the last time BUT the difference is the FULL KIP PULLUPS YES!!!!!..no assist so i guess that's an improvement!!!...wooohooo!!

Hello, Blog...it's me, Margaret (CH 27)

Two words....BATTLE ROPES!

Went to a free trial session at this place called Krank Fitness in Nutley. Not bad. I feel like I can copy those workouts and just do them at home. But, I do like the added motivation that comes with a group setting...that is, the motivation not to punk out. Highlight of the day: I did 10 regular push-ups on my toes with the proper form (at least I think I did). Count'em 10!! Was soo excited, never had that happen. I usually punk out after 3. Sooo proud of myself, but I didn't realize there was a second set, and I nearly died afterwards...hehehe. Hey, it's the small battles, right? Anyways, we'll see what comes of this, much like my bouldering experiment. Variety is the spice of life...

6-9-10 WOD / "BURN!!!...BABY!!!..BURN!!!"

True story...I only worked out once last week, binge ate this place called Fatty Crab, and sill managed to lose 6 lbs. The catch (drum roll please)...my revamped diet. I'm reading the Jillian Michael's "Master Your Metabolism." I'm eating a lot of organic food...loads of fiber, fruits, veggies. I cannot emphasize enough, F...I...B...E...R. FIBER! FIBER! FIBER! I've never been this regular in my entire life. Eeeekk. Too much information? Sorry, but if Brian Ago can post nakey pics of himself, my regularity shouldn't be a big deal...hehhehe. Now it's time to turn up the heat...my whatamalanes...110 here I come! Circa 2002...HOLA!

Felt GREAT yesterday so decided to go for another WOD today...

Clocked in 36:32 my kip pullups took the longest but no assist or jumping..ohhh yeah!!
My shoulders will feel like jell-o tomorrow..OUCH!!! surprised that I was pretty fast with the squats and pushups..yes..i guess i'm doing something right...lol...

YESSsssssss!!! I finally did a full kipping pull-ups no more jumping woohoooo!!!! WOW took what 2-3 months wow!!...Yesssss....I did it!!!...

Took 2 days to rest but resting didn't help me with today's overall time*argh*...

Took me 47 min. to finish had to rest about a 2 min during the last round because felt like puking again but manage to get a breather and finished all 4 rounds.., I guess 1 day of rest is enough, 2 days feels like a weeks...*argh*...

No more beer!

Well I managed to lose a few lbs in May. I say it was because I say no to the evil Icecream, soda and no more beer. Weighed in today at 219.5 on my scale. Don't know how that translates to Phil's wacky scale. So if I keep on keepin on I hope to be down to 215 or so by end of June. Question... are tape worms legal? Just kidding!
